Tenandry
Tenandry is a two-bedroom, mid flat in a late 19th Century building in the conservation village of Darnick and is a perfect base for an active or relaxing holiday in the Scottish Borders. The name Darnick means ‘hidden dwelling’ and the property enjoys both easy access to a range of facilities in Melrose and a peaceful location in a quiet village. A mile’s walk along well-lit pavements, or the local bus, takes you to Melrose’s historical attractions, restaurants, bars and specialty shops.
The flat sleeps four and has one double and one twin bedroom; a well equipped galley kitchen; shower-room; and a sitting room with a dining room through an alcove. Access is via an external stairway with room for coats, boots and space to dry wet things. The flat enjoys a lot of natural light, views of the medieval Darnick Tower and recently has been re-decorated throughout. There is lockable storage for bikes, fishing, golf or other sporting equipment and the flat has its own paved garden area where there is plenty of room to sit and enjoy the good weather.
Children are welcome but the property is not recommended for young children under six due to the access stairway and the close proximity of the garden gate to the village road. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
